Josh Lemke (artist name “Jawsh”), is a 29-year-old professional aerosol fine artist and
mural painter from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The primary goal of Jawsh’s art is to educate, create, beautify, and evolve the art form of aerosol. He seeks to produce art that speaks to everybody and reinforces the existing relationship of the urban industry and green environments. In his own words, “I see aerosol as a new, inspiring, and edgy art form. It’s a very beautiful medium that can produce beautiful vibrant works of art. I want to inspire a new generation of artists by being a mentor and a teacher to the public while showing them the beautiful and versatile art form that is aerosol. Every year I strive to push my boundaries and limits of what I can do as an artist, with my art, and how I create with this as my medium.”
